Where the resistance came from

The blue hood showed up under hashtags like #theresistance and #councilvstheresistance, with videos handing out ready-made resistance pfps the same way council videos had — “screenshot these to join The Resistance and take down the council.” Creators positioned themselves as its leadership against King Chris, and the bit turned into a running war: “choose your side” polls, council-vs-resistance edits, and comment threads where the two colours argue in character. Why the resistance is blue — and why Gojo

Blue is simply the anti-red, which is most of the reason. The other part is casting: resistance videos widely use Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen as the face of the movement — the blue-eyed, blue-technique character who ends up as the standard resistance avatar the way the anonymous red hood is the council’s. Other members run their own face, other anime characters, or their cat. The uniform is the colour, not the character.
